Since the 1st day I toured I've felt very comfortable and confident with Kid Country. The touring process was simple with plenty of information. The center is very clean and organized. My son started first in the summer and absolutely loved all the activities and trips the center had planned out. They definitely keep the kids busy with fun! I especially love that my son can bus to and from school right from the center. My absolute favorite thing about Kid Country is the communication and the key card entrance. Between the app, text reminders and phone calls I always know my kids are safe and I'm updated on what's going on. All the staff is amazing but I'm especially appreciative of Mrs.Kathy who I've got to watch my daughter form a bond with as she learns the routine of saying goodbye during drop off in the mornings. Staff are outstanding and always go above and beyond for my child. Facility is very clean, organized with a friendly atmosphere. Communication is great, I receive daily emails summarizing the day and it’s nice to open pictures showing the fun activities.

We have had nothing but a wonderful experience at Kid Country! Our family was fortunate to not need childcare for my oldest children, so when we found ourselves needing a daycare for my youngest we were very hesitant. The staff at Kid Country were extremely helpful and understanding with our concerns and made the transition seamless. Our son truly loves going to school and all of the activities. The stuff is involved with the development of all their children and always have the child's best interest in mind. Going to Kid Country was the best decision and we love knowing our son is in such good hands! I would recommend to any parent!

I highly recommend Kid Country Childcare! My toddler was in an at-home daycare until she was 3. I was hesitant to put her in an actual childcare facility, but gosh am I glad I found Kid Country! Every teacher there truly cares about each and every child within the facility. The learning activities are amazing and so much fun for the kids! Also, the summer program is so well put together and the kids love it! My toddler gets so excited every morning to go to Kid Country. She has made so many friends and loves her teachers so much. Kid country is an amazing place!! My children love the experience they have daily. I don’t remember a day that my kids came home with a story about it was boring or they had a bad day. My son, daughter and I moved to Manhattan just 2 years ago. 1 year ago I made the hard decision to switch childcare centers after 3 years. It's never easy to change what your kids know. It's even harder when trying to feel out and form trust with new people who will be taking care of our children. After my son’s previous preschool closed, we switched over to Kid Country’s Blue Gill preschool program. We were extremely nervous because my son is on the shy side and took a year to adjust at his other school- we didn’t want to go through that again for an entire year. After just two weeks at KC, my son was excited to go to school, has grown leaps and bounds due to their curriculum and play-based learning, and is always thrilled to come home and show us what he has learned at school. The staff has been so wonderful with him, and are the main reason for the seamless adjustment.

We have been a Kid Country family for the past 9 years and can't imagine using any other provider. From the moment we walked in over 9 years ago to to present it's like your kids are with family. They are so great with the kids and communicate well with parents. Fun educational activities that keep the youngest to oldest kids engaged. The kids thar attend Kid Country are more than prepared for kindergarten. Over the years Kid Country has added to the programs and remodeled the center. It's a great Childcare center I recommend to everyone.

Highly recommended! I have had my son at Kid Country since he was 8 months old. He has learned so much in just the few months he has attended. The growth in him is unbelievable. He absolutely loves his teachers and his friends at school. Every morning he gets excited when I ask if he’s ready to go to school. All the the staff, teachers, etc. are incredible. Extremely welcoming, friendly. As a first time mom I was nervous about putting my son in daycare and they have absolutely calmed my nerves.

Highly recommended!! We have had our children at kid country since 2014, and have loved it ever since! My kids have always been treated like family, developed all the skills needed to grow, and well prepared for kindergarten. I appreciate how well they communicate and share photos / updates all day. I've had my two sons enrolled at Kid Country since they were 21 months and 18 months old, respectively; and since 2016. Currently my oldest has since "graduated" to Kindergarten, and my youngest still loves to go everyday. He runs into his class in the mornings, and if we have a holiday break for a few days, he starts asking me when he can go "back to school." I don't know what more I could possibly ask/wish for for my boys.
I would highly recommend this school for anyone looking for childcare in the Manhattan area, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love sending my children here! My daughter has a special connection with Ms. Elly! Whenever she is having a bad day, I know Ms. Elly will find a way to cheer my daughter up. My daughter barely allows me to brush her hair, yet allows Ms. Elly braid her hair in all these fun ways. If I could give a higher review than 5 stars, I would. Ms Emily, Ms Katie, Ms Evelyn, and Ms Kathy…. You have made the most substantial impact on my child. You are her second safe space and I couldn’t be any happier- I can’t even put into words how grateful I am. She started at KC when she was 15 months old, she’s now 2 and a half and is closer than ever with her teachers. Honestly- all the staff is incredible and she’s formed bonds with teachers from all different classrooms. She stops every afternoon at the front desk to give Ms Jill a big squishy hug, she loves hearing Ms Bailey tell her fun stories with her big vibrant personality, she loves learning from Ms Meg new songs and dances, she loves popping into the yellow ducks to say goodbye at the end of the day to the babies and Ms Amy ♥️

We love Kid Country for more reasons than I can fit into one review! I have watched my kids thrive since they have been attending. My 4 year old is learning so much, has made so many friends, and genuinely loves going to school. My 15 month old goes to her teachers happily without fussing, is always smiling when we pick her up, and is getting so many amazing experiences. They really treat you like family there. All the teachers know my kids’ names, even if they have never had them as students. Everyone knows what’s going on in their lives and their likes and interests. It’s a really great place!

I ABSOLUTELY love KidCountry Childcare!!! The staff here is nothing short of truly AMAZING! Coming out of the pandemic, my oldest was so incredibly shy and unsure of himself. From the 1st day after I dropped him off, I knew he was going to be in the BEST hands! Ms Bailey, Ms Wendy & Ms Victoria were so patient, so understanding. I had an immediate sense of relief leaving him because they treated him as if he was their own. I believe his success now in kindergarten is because of the foundation KidCountry gave him!
If that wasn't enough, I'm having a hard time putting into words all KC has/is doing for my family now with my twins. Making the decision to withdraw my boy twin from the EC program has to be the hardest decision I have ever had to make! I knew in my heart he had so much more potential than what they were telling me he had and this amazing group of women have gone above and beyond with working with me & his private therapy. Ms McKenzie, Ms Grace, Ms Kelly, Ms Wendy, Ms Fran, Ms Ellie and everyone else(I'm so sorry if I have left out anyone) who are helping to take care of him are nothing but angels! My completely non verbal child as of 2/22 is completely VERBAL! His progress has been nothing short of a miracle! I know in my heart if it wasn't for the extreme patience & shared determination with me to not accept or give up on him, he would NOT be where he is today! I am now so incredibly hopeful that we can help him achieve ALL that he is meant be! KidCountry will always be apart of my families story, and for that I can not recommend a better place to send the loves of my life, my kids!

Kid Country is the BEST. When we moved into the area, we spoke with and toured numerous daycare facilities. My biggest priority was to feel comfortable with the people I would leave my children with. Peace of Mind. I have dropped my three children off here for the past decade. I had peace of mind every time I dropped them off. This place is more than a "daycare" it truly is an early education center. The teachers here are some of the best I have seen, they work hard and are dedicated. My children love Kid Country. My daughter is particularly energized by KC and wants to go to school every morning, including on weekends. It helps (and I love) that the kids get to spend a lot of time outside and playing in general. (Playing is the best way for kids to learn.) We absolutely love Miss Kathy! She was my son’s first teacher in the purple parrots room and now we have her in the Red Robin’s. Drop off can be a little rough with my little guy but Miss Kathy is always there to comfort him and make sure he feels better about leaving mom.

Kid Country Childcare is the best thing I have done for my child. Before starting, at one and a half she was almost completely non verbal with no signs of starting. After about 2 months she started speaking more. Now at two and a half she hasn’t stopped talking. I credit her speech to Kid Country and the amazing teachers they have on staff. Out of all the childcare facilities in my area, I’m glad I went with Kid Country.

My family’s experience with Kid Country has been excellent. Our son loves his program and teachers. He always comes home excited to talk about what he learned and did that day. Our whole family likes getting to see what arts and crafts he has made that day connected to the curriculum.
The communication from Kid Country has also been very good, with daily app notifications, in-app chat functions, weekly emails, and text updates. I especially enjoy the daily updates on the program’s curriculum to know what my son is learning. We always feel connected and well-informed.

We love Kid Country childcare! The teachers are supportive and you can tell they love what they do! Our son loves coming to school everyday and loves all of his teachers. We have seen so much growth in him since starting at Kid Country. The before and after school program is wonderful. We enjoy the fun family activities they offer throughout the year.

When we moved to Manhattan we were nervous to start our kids at a completely new school. But immediately our kids were met with caring and welcoming teachers, an atmosphere that teaches their classmates to be welcoming of new friends, and super interesting and unique units to learn. We have been so happy with Kid Country! Our son was very nervous about starting preschool, and we toured several places—Kid Country was where he felt most comfortable, and even excited. My daughter is in the Orange Owl class. She's been attending Kid Country for a few years. I'm extremely pleased this year with the teaches my daughter has. Ms. Victoria and Ms. Mary are wonderful. Those two are definitely meant to work with children. They're very empathetic, patient, and kind! I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter with them. Kid Country is a wonderful place to work! The staff and administration team are so welcoming and kind. I truly enjoy working alongside my fellow staff members. I love having 10-15 hugs each morning I walk into work. The families and children are the absolute best! There is a family like atmosphere and I love it.
We are given plenty of opportunities to grow in our childcare careers through various trainings and experiences. The staff are very supportive and will help you out in any way they can. They really will!

Before I started working at Kid Country I worked at 4 other centers in Illinois. Upon being hired I knew that the children at Kid Country were getting the best childcare around. Working here has been a blessing. This center strives to be the best of the best. The staff works hard as a team to achieve National recognition, and it shows in all that we do. Coming to work there was one of the best decisions I’ve have made in my career! I’ve been there 17 years, and hope to retire there!

Our boys have been going to Kid Country since the summer and we couldn’t be happier. We previously sent our boys to an in-home daycare and when we moved we were worried it would be hard to find a facility that would make our boys feel as safe and loved. Kid Country was highly recommended to us and we fell in love as soon as we visited. Our boys were welcomed with open arms, the kids were so thrilled to have new friends in their class, the staff was immediately kind and welcoming. I was most impressed with the curriculum, though! They are learning things I personally would never know how to teach my kids… or even think of! I feel like academically they are soaring. The boys get excited to go to school each day and we are confident they are getting plenty of attention, love and good care

Kid Country Childcare has been a fantastic daycare. My oldest Daughter attended for 4 years and now my youngest has started. Both girls absolutely love it there. The teachers are absolutely amazing and do such a wonderful job with the kids! Everyone extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome! Our daughter has attended Kid Country since she was 6 weeks old. The staff all took her in as one of their own. I love that they are play based and that the kids are constantly engaged in activities, working together, and being outdoors! She has thrived outside the program because of what she has learned there.
