Assistant Director at KC

Assistant Director Description

Kid Country Childcare follows the Creative Curriculum in all of its classrooms. Miss Michelle’s role is to ensure all staff are properly trained, prepared, and provided the resources needed to put the curriculum into action. With the proper classroom setup, materials, and interactions, the curriculum sets the foundation for the desire to learn. Our curriculum is individually based to provide the skill set needed for every child at their own pace and individualized to their unique style of learning. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to creative curriculum.

Miss Michelle stays current with the curriculum through various training throughout the year as well as meeting with other directors and staff implementing the curriculum. When not visiting classrooms, you can find Miss Michelle up front at the reception desk to help with any questions or needs you may have, along with planning all of Kid Country’s special events, activities, and field trips.
