Kid Country Childcare has raised me through my adult life, I started as an assistant at the young age of 18 and now ten years later have earned a position on the administration team. I have earned two degrees while employed at Kid Country with the support of my fellow teachers and directors. I have made everlasting friendships with my fellow teachers. The support the teachers have for one another is like no other. Over the last almost eleven years I have had the privilege to be a part of many children’s weekdays and support their development in a fun, playful manner. My own child belongs to the Kid Country program, and I would not have it any other way. Kid Country Childcare has changed my life for the better professionally and personally with the many opportunities to make connections and grow.
Kid Country is the first place that has ever made me feel like I am part of a family. I truly feel cared for and valued by each of my coworkers. My family life and health is important to them, and when I need my schedule adjusted for any reason they do their best to accommodate me. Ms. Donna cares about the happiness and growth of her employees, and she is always looking for new ways to make Kid Country better for the children, families, and staff. The love and laughter that is constantly throughout the building amazes me. My career is growing more than it ever has, and I have never been more grateful. The best part of every day at my job is seeing how happy and loved the kids feel. Kid Country is an absolutely wonderful place!
I have worked at Kid Country for almost two years now. Kid Country is the most welcoming, wholesome, and family based work environment I've ever been apart of. I have received open arms since day one. I have built so many new friendships with other staff members that will last a life time. I have even gained awesome relationships with the families and their children who attend at Kid Country. I believe everyone should be excited and look forward to there work day as much as I do. The biggest plus is being able to bring my own child to Kid Country and being able to watch her learn and grow along the way. Kid Country is definitely a second home.
When I interviewed at Kid Country, I knew right away that this place could be my forever work home. The school was inviting and the staff seemed to work cohesively. The teachers looked like they were having fun. The kids were laughing and active and moving around. The teachers were bringing the kids outside for their learning experiences, and I was loving what I saw! And I knew this is the way I want to teach! Fifteen years later I am still here at Kid Country! I enjoy walking in the door every morning knowing that I will be able to make a difference in the lives of the little children I care for. Honestly, coming to work at Kid Country is a decision I will never regret!
Working at Kid Country is like having a second family I get to see every day! I look forward to seeing the passion, care, and inclusion each of my coworkers bring with them daily. The amount of care and effort put into the needs and wants of the children is shown year-round. I love being able to say “I work at Kid Country” and have families lite up with excitement because they know the child-based, family oriented atmosphere we have here! There is a lot of time and hard work put into what we do in the background to make Kid Country what it is, but the smiles and excitement of the children make it all worth it!
The staff at Kid Country are not only my friends but family as well. I have grown a lot as a teacher since starting at Kid Country. I am thankful for the support I get from the staff. Some days may be tiring but in the end of the day it is very rewarding. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces and having them run up to you for a hug is the best feeling. I love watching the children in my classroom grow and learn each day. Kid Country is like a home away from home. The parents are very supporting and I love being able to connect with them. I love what I do! I will forever be grateful for being able to work at Kid Country.
Joining the Kid Country family became a new adventure for me that I didn’t know I needed! This job is very rewarding compared to my other jobs. My work schedule fits the needs of my family life. The directors do an awesome job to make us feel appreciated and welcomed. I’m glad to be a part of the Kid Country family.
Kid Country has given me confidence in a professional teaching role that I needed! With positive and supportive co- workers I have been able to gain valuable experience and knowledge, as I pursue my degree in Elementary Education. Many of my co-workers and the children feel like family to me. I also have learned so much about early childhood development just from the experience of being around knowledgeable and seasoned teachers.
Kid Country has become my second family! Seeing the children grow and reach new milestones throughout their time at the center is one of the greatest aspects of my job. The connections built with the families, children, and my coworkers are ones I will cherish for years to come. The work environment is exciting and never without smiles and a bit of laughter. Kid Country allows creativity in ways I have never experienced before. I am also grateful to build upon my professional development here at Kid Country and learn from such supportive coworkers every day.
